How can I learn to make cool stylized Illustrations like the pic on the left? I know that I should learn the basics, ie perspective, anatomy, and color. But whats the next step to producing stylized works?
I notice that this illustration style is used a lot in magazines such as The New Yorker.

Is there a name for this style? It reminds me of Kurzgesagt.
These artworks tend to be based more heavily on flat shapes and colour (more limited palettes), with shapes and rhythms being emphasised.
Just focus on the above and try achieve what your favourite artworks do, you'll get a sense of the aesthetics more or less.

Very helpful. Thank you very much!
I know it sounds stupid, but style comes with time. Every time you study the composition of an old master or ahegao faces from your favorite hentai artist you get a new tool.
Once you have enough tools you`ll be able to build exactly what is in your head.
And if you want a very specific style, just study whoever it is you admire, just remember that copying is not studying:
