Looking for a painting that I think was from the enlightenment era or maybe high renaissance? I saw it years ago but can't find it. It depicted a subject who had to choose between a life of study, virtue, and knowledge vs a life of vice, alcohol, sex. On one side were scientists and philosophers the other side drunks and nude women. I've found some similar paintings, but they are not the one.
Any art history buffs know the painting?

I'm pretty sure the scientists were on the right, the lewd women on the left, and it was indoors

Gonna need a little more than that, allegory was an incredibly popular subject during those eras.

That's pretty much all I can remember unfortunately... On one side guys reading manuscripts, tinkering with instruments, thinking deeply, very nobel. On the other side dumb laughing, wine, nude women.
Wish I could remember more
Most certainly not the image you are looking for but relevant...

Nice, thank you. Not the one no, I've spent a few hours digging through high renaissance and enlightenment era paintings but came up empty handed. I'll keep looking for it, but if anyone knows please halp!
I guess paintings about the choice between good and evil / virtue and vice general? There's probably better ones out there than the one I am thinking of
