Am I the only one that is scared of /ic/? This board literally

There are a handful (admittedly not a lot - but then again realize what website you're on) of objectively good artists on this board. Work and you can be one of them. Art is hard (and in other news, water is wet).

If I never found this board I would still be doing deviantart-tier work and defending it with "muh style." This place was a literal eye-opener.

That realization should inspire you to work harder. A defeatist attitude like that is tantamount to 'not gonna make it'.

This isn't how you should use this board. It's all about being honest with yourself. When you are coming here for a laugh, say to yourself "I'm not coming here to learn, I've earned myself some quality shitposting time".
When you're coming here to learn, say to yourself "I'm here to find something about X or Y" and keep your words. See any thread? Ask yourself "would opening it helps with X and Y?" and Hide it.
