I recently purchased a new tablet, the huion H610 pro, and was wondering why this feels so awful. I can't draw the things I can on paper, and it'ks killing me, it just feels awkward and wrong. Also, it feels kind of slow to move, would changing the screen ratio help for that?
>it feels awful
it gets better
>i can't draw the things i can on paper
it takes time
>it feels awkward and wrong
it does for everyone. after two or three months it will feel natural.

>I've been practicing with charcoal for 3 years, why do I suck at oil painting!?
It's a new medium, anon, and with every new medium comes "tricks of the trade" you have to learn. You need to take time and learn your chosen art program, first and foremost. Learn keyboard shortcuts, especially. They will be your greatest ally, by far.
Just give it some time, and get plenty of practice in. You'll get there

i remember that feelin,
you're still a digital virgin. give it about 2 weeks and your mind will wrap around the concept of not looking at your hand when you draw, rather up at the screen instead.
draw for 2 weeks 3 hours a day mang. and you'll be with the rest of us.
It took me a day to get used to drawing with a tablet. A DAY. What is wrong with all of you?

you were in a koma.
I still like to sketch on paper and scan my best ones in to paint. Drawing on a tablet still does not feel natural to me and I have been doing it for 2 years.
