Where is the light source in this? Your shadows are off

I have two cats, and their stomach and mouth do not look like that

Also the bowl is incredibly flat. Check this shadow too

Overall, it comes off as incomplete. I feel like you've used two separate photos as references that have different lighting

Can't wait to finish my painting and get shat on

Just realized why the bowl was off putting

I'm looking at the cat side on but the bowl is at an angle enough to see its contents

study some cat anatomy, muscles, bones etc. you may be surprised.

thanks guys, i was completely oblivious about that bowl. I know the lighing is here and there especially with the trees. For this painting ill keep it like that, i think its creepy looking which is what i want. I tried to make the cat look pregnant but didnt want to make just a fat cat if you know what i mean... i guess ill bring the bulge out further up its torso (towards its head).

I think its unanimously considered a better choice to study and practice replicating real life before doing surreal/creepy work. Especially composition, since that could help make your painting more creepy. Also look at other great creepy paintings, they usually have weird perspective, dark lighting, and off colors. Which you kinda do in yours but it seems like you didn't fully use these to your advantage.
Take a look at pic related. The creepiness is subtle but used effectively
