The difference between Berserk and Kemono Friends is one is based on a very long running, well respected manga series with a serious, dark tone and beautiful art and one is based on a shitty cancelled mobile game with cute animal girls, a light-hearted tone and doesn't take itself seriously at all.

A lot of shitters hate on KF for its 3DCG, but, if you've actually watched the show, it's cute and fits the show very well and doesn't feel unnatural and out of place like Berserk's shit (with the exception of the PPP episode's dancing). Had a very well done world set up with a cohesive and interesting plot that subtly built up without them shoving the information into your face. Amazingly cute characters with great designs too.

My mistake. My point was simply that the CG in Berserk is completely unfitting and shit while the CG in KF actually works well because of the other elements of the show and the context surrounding its creation.

Does that honestly sound like a lot of money to you? Regardless of subjective OR objective quality of the work, artists, animators and voice actors have to be paid in case you were unaware, dumbass.

Giving the image the benefit of the doubt and assuming only 10 people total made that show happen including voice actors and other miscellaneous staff (which I sincerely FUCKING doubt) that's STILL only about $33,000 annual salary each which is about what a highschool kid can make working at a takeout restaurant-maybe less.

I would also say the first part of Yu Yu Hakusho... But I kinda like the evolution of the art. The more silly, juvenile style works well with the early seasons. And when Yusuke starts coming into himself as an adult, the art reflects that maturity.

I realize this is probably unintentional, but still. Kinda nice to think about.
