You will need chrome for this.

Its will record whatever is on a specific tab and export it as a webm, and it will mute the sound of the tab that is being recorded so you can literally still use chrome and browse whilst it records.

-play around with setting for quality and to disable microphone pickup
-open video
-click the RTC icon on the extensions tab in chrome and it will start recording
-expand the video because RTC will then make sure it just record the video and nothing around it
-stop recording and delete the video you just got because expanding the video to not take the full screen for some reason only works when you are recording
-now that you have expanded the video to only be large on a tab instead of taking up the whole screen and back dropping chrome rewind the video, hit play and record.

Sounds lengthy but is actually very simple.
