I am glad at least one person appreciates this wealth of information. Did you listen to David Hickey?

That lecture is amazing. I am trying to download it as an audio. What does him being American have to do with anything? Did you listen to it?

Yes, it's interesting that he compares Raphael to a live band, or the bodily sensation he gets from pop music.
The idea that Caravaggio exists in a more mental, 'designated' area is also very amusing. I wouldn't have thought to compare him with a record album.

Robert Hughes is so based. That part in "The Mona Lisa Curse" where he shits on the moronic Warhol collector was great.

Have you read any of his books? Rome is alright, but I want to jumpstart Goya.
>>3032463
I've read the Goya book and "Nothing If Not Critical", which is a collection of his art reviews. Both of them are very good reads. His views definitely helped me appreciate the works of Goya on a much deeper level.
I have a pretty short attention span when it comes to reading but I've always enjoyed what he's written and skimmed through some of his other books too. I have watched all of his documentaries at the very least.

OP here,
I can't seem to find his books on pdf...
