learn perspective and build them out of basic shapes, same as any object but just a little more complicated than most

Practice at home. Make sure you spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with your holster. If you're going for speed, any small mistake could be fatal if it means you're drawing your firearm slower than the other guy.
