I agree that the first one gives off that Uncanny Valley vibe. Maybe it's because she's just staring soulessly and emotionlessly as well as not focusing on anything. Very unnatural.

multiple imperfections throughout the entire piece (and even visible brush strokes) help separate it from reality to the point where no matter how well you draw it, out brain still registers it as a drawing and lets it get away with lots of shit. it's not uncanny, it's stylistic
