It's always time to abandon art and get a normal job. In fact, you probably took too long to reach this decision already.

Art is THE "don't quit your day job" of all hobbies, anon.
But still, keep pushing yourself. With each piece, just see how far you can push it - gesture, rendering, perspective, composition. That's combined with thoughtful practice and references is how you get out of the plateau.

Try out some 3D. That's what I did and it was very refreshing. After you get used to the clunky interface and the tools, 3D feels a lot more like building legos while 2D drawing typically feels a lot more like dying inside imo. Learning 3D also helps you with 2D and it's almost mandatory for many 2D positions nowadays, so there's really no reason to not doing it since you're currently stuck on an art wall anyways.
If you do decide to try it out, search for Arrimus3D on youtube. That guy is amazing and helped me soo much.

Judging by pic related, I think that if you want to continue with art, you should probably try stepping out of your comfort zone more; so learning and using new techniques and methods/processes, and just experimenting in a general sense.
