you should scribble on paper
then cover said paper with a clean sheet and try to generate the alphabet using the lines of the scribbles as guidelines (obvs you can move the paper)
you will get more natural lines that way (._.)b

to be honest I did this lines by purpose because I thought it would look cool, but I guess you are right when you are saying, it lacks natural flow.

here another piece I made and as you can see I did use the same type of lines as well as other elements I used in the riot one but I used a different letter style

But now that i think of it its better to give some constructive criticism than start a flame war on /ic/

So that little handstyle at the bottom right at the OP picture isnt very good looking. The space inbetween the "k" and the "e" trashes the flow.
Having arrows popping out of nowhere gives it a very toy look, like something made with straight up an online graffiti creator.
Some of the letter structure, like in the letter "o" is fucked up to the point of not recognizing it as what it is.

You should propably stick to straight letters and especially tags (curious to see your tags, mind posting some handstyles?).

also i worked on the riot one, added this line at the letter "o" for example to make it more obvious.

You're absolutely right they could be so much cleaner. I dont usually spend that much time on sketches, maybe i should start polishing sketches up a bit.
Also even with the "o" im just not one for that style with more or less bulky stuff coming out of the letters, like for example the vertical line of the "t" is an arrow, and next to it is an curved shape. They just contrast and break apart the flow.

Also drop the crowns, unless you ofcourse are a king but most of us aren't, especially shitposting our shit on /ic/. But yeah just keep on doing writing.
