Murata is the fucking boss. He's one of my all time favorite artists.

His art deco inspiried illustrations are by far my favorite though.

You can just tell how much artists like Jean Gabriel Domergue influenced his work.

I got to see him live at a convention once. He explained that he mostly draws those samey anime girls because that's what people (customers) always ask him to draw. But he can actually draw anything.

He also explained that he always draws them with short hair because long hair is a pain in the ass.
