Brock Hofer has a grotesque style in his works, but they're also rife with colors

Low quality b8?
Anything that resembles the Eldritch Abominations depicted in the Necronomicon.

Junji Ito, Kazuo Umezu, Kentaro Miura, Dark Souls/Bloodborne. Japs love that stuff. Also Beksinski and Wayne Barlowe.
I really like this theme and I've been trying to mess with it for a few years. I'm not the best but I want to advance. I'll post a few showing what I've got so far.

Also everything in this list to be honest. Especially Beksinski. Also a modern small time artist named Anthony Christopher does some cool work that is similar.

ITT edgy 13 year old wants to learn how to draw monsters

Takato Yamamoto is one of my all time favourite artists. This work isn't even one of his bests in my opinion. Also check out suehiro maruo

Start small, take inspiration from diseases and invertebrates, remember that the most eldritch things come from taking something normal and making it strange.

ding ding ding, congratulations you figured it out

Look at this list to start, the problem with this style is that you can really easily just look past all the problems in your work as "muh edgy style." Don't be that emo autistic fag. You're interested in art that creates cosmic fear, that doesn't just mean it has to look ugly, don't be afraid to experiment.
I'm gonna dump some inspiration for you, hopefully you'll like some of it. Definitely check out Bernie Wrightson.

Oh, and dead people too. Harlequin babies. Children in India with crazy mutations.
