Speeds up the production and the request is so cheap that it's unwarranted. Very few can actually draw fur because it's too hard for them, in fact most of the popular artists just use the same formula and their poses end up all looking the same with slight alterations. Almost no furry work I have seen demonstrates foreshortening and most of them abuse the selection tool to the point where they look like plastic manikins.
