I didn't use the original splash because some of the features are less discernable, but you see that the facial features are the same between splash arts.

Just keep at it, my dude. I think the subject matter's a little blah - same face, same body type, you know the deal. Still, this shit sells. You'll be fine.

Work on facial construction. You're stuck in this place where the level of detail/abstraction in faces and bodies are distractingly different at times. Also, you're doing that J. Scott Campbell thing where people's near eyes are sliding off their faces. I don't think you need to focus on anatomy, per se, but I do notice that you throw it under the bus at times (IE; girl riding a dragon - her background arm is ridiculous).

Unfortunately, since your work is somewhat stylized, /ic/ won't always be able to give you very good feedback on it. The likelihood that anybody in this thread knows more than you about how to make your work look good, is slim. You're in the "I haven't gotten over Loomis yet" zone.

You were almost correct : I'll be 24 in 4 months BUT I'm black. Also, there's a lot of ways you can do fanart you know... A lot. If you believe that drawing semi-realistic characters with a shiny skin and sparkles everywhere is the only way, you are clearly mistaken & need to look at more than 2 or 3 art websites!
