Seeing this thread and having used the term "tumblr art-style" before, I decided to look into it.

Someone actually decided to not redraw, but EDIT this piece to fit their narrative. It's all about "muh feminism".

When they say they resized the hat, they say "Gave her her own normal sized damn hat" "I am 50000% sure if she were male he’d have a proper sized hat" " Idk man I just really hate the patriarchy"

They say they changed the expression:
"the expression wasn’t exactly a glaring issue but it seemed to me like it was catering to the male gaze a little too much. I (shoddily) fixed it so that it looks like she’s (sort of) ready for battle instead of posing for a body pillow. "

Like HOLY FUCKING SHIT did you even have permission to edit that art??

The main thing I notice aside from noses is how everything is round.
They don't bother with elbow/knee/finger joints to break up the form so the character ends up looking like a water balloon with sausages glued on.
