The background is fucking beautiful but the character seems a little awkward and out of place. Especially the tiger head, it really blends in with the background and not in a good way. It took me a few seconds to realize its even there. Also the way its positioned on the neck is kinda weird.

I like what am I seeing. I am honestly /beg/ tier, but if you wish I'd try elaborating more on every one of those.

Question though - what is a size of those, medium and the process? Do you print photos, make a collage and then paintover with acrylics or is it something different?

The nature ones are 36x48" oil on canvas and the rest are gouache on 12x16" paper. I use references off-canvas, but that's about it.

Your visions would work a lot better if you switched to digital. Because it's so complex and layered.

A bit too lost in details and feels too collagy (lacking a shared palette, perspective, etc)

Theyre okay, kinda corny though and have 0 taste for color or composition. Basically looks like youre in your early 20s and havent yet struggled in life.

i like it when you use darker colors, like in this one. the anatomy is fairly weak though.
i think this works because of the bright skin contrasting with all the green and the darks. it's not mindblowing or anything, but fairly appealing nevertheless.

the other ones don't seem as impactful because they have weaker value groupings and much less darks. your landscapes tend to have a decent value distribution, but the psychedelic parts of your paintings lack that completely. it looks even a bit amateurish because of that imo.
rainbow colors won't get you very far if the value distribution isn't interesting as well.

TLDR in general i think you should work on your values.

The background shows promise, but you don't really render anything, you juts kind of splotch paint around. Drawing and painting rocks can be really fun, as they have definite shapes and textures and patterns. There's too much black over all, it needs more color, it's almost monochrome.

As for the figure...well, honestly, it screams "amatuer" and "13 years old". Nothing wrong with being 13, but this is art, not Playboy magazine. Nudity should have a purpose - number one exploring and expressing the human form - which you haven't done very well. It might as well be a poorly drawn trace over from Playboy glued to the canvas - and you failed utterly to light her in any meaningful or realistic way. The masks are even more crudely drawn, almost cartoony, which doesn't fit with the realistic background.

I would grade this as a C, possible B for amature, and a D, F for a serious artistic attempt by someone studying art.

If you want to be taken seriously outside of this forum, stop using your art to mentally masturbate. Try to paint a landscape like that seriously, and learn to paint texture, color, and realism. It would be far more interesting than "Stock nudie pose".

Take the tube of black guache out of your art box, and throw it out.

This landscape probably had a wealth of color in it, but you flattened it all with the overuse of black. I guarantee you there's no black in the photo you used for reference.

Prudishness has nothing to do with it, kid. I get it, you're young, and you get a hardon if the wind blows. But this is art. Nudity should have a reason - except for little creeps like you. I'm trying to give the OP real world advice - if I saw this in his portfolio for an art school entrance exam, i'd question his dedication to art, or if he's just drawing to get off on.
