If OP starts a thread with the meme, then the thread should be sanitized, and OP should have just dropped the post in the alt thread. If /ic/ is nice anons and even redirect OP (but I assume we are all shit heads)

In any case, Alt thread needs some better structure like /beg/ with some exercises at the opening of a new thread.

If some selfish new fag makes his own thread for some shitty artwork and gets style meme'd then I have no problem with letting the meme live on in the thread. It's like OP gives you lemons and /ic/ makes lemonade.

no i think they're fun, they're like the main thing i've been looking at on /ic/ lately seeing as people hardly ever post in the draw thread now, they're the only place where you actually see a bunch of drawings from a bunch of skill levels. it the flood of completely useless shitpost filled threads on /ic/ targetting the ones with actual drawings is..well typical /ic/ i guess.
