May I make an intermediate thread? I really like the beginner threads. Most of them have genuine tips. I feel like we could use an intermediate (relative, I know) since this can be just as tricky.
What do you find yourselves drawing mostly? Do you feel like you've improved? How long have you drawn?
I've drawn all my life but only in the last year have I taken it seriously. I mostly do anatomy stuff for humans and animals but the occasional fantasy thing.

If you don't agree because you see some great digital art, well, I suggest you take a harder look. Not to be rude. But it's good to realize that people just specialize early on. A lot of digital posters have never touched trad in their life. And a lot of tradposters that seemingly just post shitty crap just need to buy a scanner and boom.

I don't understand what you mean about traditional versus digital. It doesn't make any difference what medium you create art in to me. I don't think that if someone uses digital they're suddenly advanced. I've seen a lot of abysmal digital art. I just choose not to draw digitally. Anyway, fair enough, this thread properly does seem out of place since I could've just posted in one of the regular "draw threads". Fair enough.

we don't need more special draw threads, in fact seeing as the board is so much smaller now, and the fact that no one passionately hates anime here anymore really the opposite should be happening, the draw thread should reabsorb the anime thread and the sketchbook thread. only the beginner thread should stay because that's just the same advice over and over again.

The drawthread (and other respective threads like stylization etc) is the intermediate thread.
If we needed a new 'tier' it'd be "pro artists" thread and it'd be so comically full of shitposting and false-flagging that it'd be a waste of time.
