body looks great but the face is way behind
Not op, but I understand perspective and I can construct scenes just fine but whenever I try to put person into the scene everything just falls apart.
I can't really wrap my head around it, especially if the person isnt just standing stiff / straight up.
Are there any good tutorials or books that cover figure drawing in perspective in depth?

you can pretty easily guesstimate perspective once you've got a bit more experience with the ol' still lifes and what not, i think it's still is important to learn at least the basic theory though, so you know what you're looking at.
obviously if you want to do architectural drawings and other inorganic things like that it's best to actually know your shit though.
