unless you do nothing but grind 24/7 for those two years yes its highly unrealistic. the reason your friend is getting commisions is either they already had some skill to begin with or the people who commision them have shit tastes.

in the real world where you have to take time to eat and sleep itll take at least five, probably more. concidering how your "art" isnt even worth wiping the shit of my ass id say get serious real fast if you truly want to go professional, otherwise you arnt gonna make it.

If you're serious..... 2-4 hours minimum. Make sure you study the fundamentals (check the sticky). Since you're still in school, take an art class and/or get a small sketchbook to carry with you to study from life. Good luck!

Oh boy, another thread where OP found a random deviantart account and decided to pretend to be the artist for laughs

it takes 4 years working 6 hours a day to become proffesional tier. 2-3 if you cut corners.

for real though just grind the basics and train rendering for 3 hours a day for a year then trace over 3d models if you dont care about actually being of quality.

it's not about the hours but the quality of work

just start working on your skills in a smart way and improvement will come.
