This is just going to be a quick dump, contribute you if like but i've got plenty of images
Sorry, it's a little slow i dunno any faster way than just posting reply over and over
If you want anything specific just ask, i've got heaps of medieval themed images, fantasy, military and some nice environments
Design sheets that i liked/saved
Some really dynamic angles to try out
Gonna take a break for a bit, i'll come back in a little while to see if anyone's taken interest, if you have REQUEST! there's a fair chance i'll have a folder dedicated to it if its relatively tame

That's a high tech equivalent of "you can't see me if I can't see you"
>>2961102
I am interested in stuff like the OP pic.
I don't know the exact term for sci-fi vehicles with a classical term but I really like it and I want to be able to draw them myself.
Got a pretty dumb question i wanna get it off my chest but how do i get futuristic mech design language references from real life, i've look into guns, military vehicle but most of their design look contemporary.
>>2961195
it's mostly a mix of automotive parts, industrial factory parts, construction, military, robotics, architecture, etc.
The key is to think in terms of shapes. most things are warped and modified cubes, cylinders, and spheres. if you see a boxy ergonomic shape on literally any mechanical device it could become anything from a gun to a starship.
you only have to think logically for moving parts. anatomy and simple articulation on things like door hinges, joints desk lamps, prosthetics, etc. Help with this. it's pretty common sense. make sure the design has everything it needs to move the way you want.
i'd recommend looking at diagrams of vehicles and machinery but if you're in a rush i'd say just study the mechanical artists on a website like ArtStation, THEN move into diagrams.
>>2961195
>>2961216
Diagrams are important because they teach you the names of things, how things work, and how things look
Which means instead of just having to pretend what parts are via photo bash
You can actually know and find the detailed construction of things and learn from that.
>>2961223
>Diagrams show you parts so you can find the parts of parts
>more parts - a broader visual library.
>>2961195
Could have sworn i had a picture of a bunch of examples of joints and hinges that could be applied to mecha but i think i might have accidentally deleted it, sorry man
>>2961189
It seems like a pretty specific subject matter, i only have 1 or 2 more like that, but it looks like they've taken heavy inspiration from the 50s, honestly it could just be as simple as creating an image bank of classic cars, cutting out parts you like and drawing them together to create something new and futuristic

Here you guys go
Do you have clothing references? Preferably more modern styles
Jesus Christ, OP, acquire some taste before you start sharing your bland design ref folder.

Guess I'll post from my ref folders.

Protip, focus on one artist otherwise you'll never have a coherent style or progress. These are good to copy when you do client work and you have no ideas but they shouldn't be part of the references you use daily. You'll end up being the most cliche artist of all time if you do so.
I got photo references of armor and shit if anyone's interested.

It's too bad that there's shit everywhere, there's so much cool architecture in India.

I'm just curious, anon, did you download those knights in bulk before?
The reason I'm wondering is because I put my folder up for upload once, and either that or we have almost identical taste.
>>2967065
More like this?
Anymore refs of Woman from behind?
