This is so smooth, it feels weird to look at. It's like 60 FPS or something.

I like how japs are in control of what you see. Cowboy Bebop or Little Witch Academia are real gems.

The downside is that most anime fight scenes feel really artificial and as a result they go more and more overboard with movement, as if that's gonna make up for a lack of sense of weight.

imo French animation is probably the future, as it combines eastern movement and western feeling.

>>2960822
Jesus fuck so that's what it's like to feel the form..
>>

Speaking of anime fights, I did studies on that exact fights and there are some scenes that are just completely unreadable. I understand the freedom in animation, but holy shit, some frames where like "what the hell did spike do?"

French animation are made by aliens.

Yeah, anime fights have been shit for a very long time. It's just gotten to a point where there is zero suspense of entertainment value, because they're only trying to show off by exaggerating as much as possible. It's so bad you can't tell the satire from the real deal.

>imo French animation is probably the future, as it combines eastern movement and western feeling.
French animation is extremely overrated. It used to be at least half-decent and tried to go its own way, but in recent years it's become ultra commercialized dogshit that takes the worst from the east and the west.

>>2961181
Not sure if suspense belongs to fights. They are supposed to be epic action.
>>
>>2957201
i always found that little observational things worked really well in animation, like idk, someone straightening out their tie, girls putting on their skirts, things like that. stuff that involves a lot of movement and intricacy, but isn't all big and flashy with things squishing and stretching out of shape all over the place.

Anime animation :3

It was animated by Yukata Nakamura, the god of battle animation. And he has this style of animating that involves a lot of small details that sometimes last about 1 or 2 frames and no way you can tell without going through each frame and analyse it. Also his choreography and animation flows are always on point.
