He's big name, trend. For example "Genocidal Organ" released recently. It's not moeblob, but it didn't sell. Why? Because of no Big Trend Names such of Miyazaki. Every shit he produce will be popular.

I think he's a good animator in terms of the entire product. Rick and Morty on it's own isn't overly spectacular aside from neat designs, but the comedy, the score, the voice acting, all of it put together is great.
I don't know so much about his other work though some of that shit is......weird....like that Dr. Seuss thing.
