How do you make the brain fog and eternal fatigue stop?
>>

assuming you are otherwise healthy...
get enough sleep, get exercise, eat 6 small meals a day. avoid caffeine.
>>
>>2956466
>avoid caffeine
but how will I live
>>
Go to a chiropractor. Seriously bro bad posture can cause brain fog because spinal chords are literally pulling on the brain.
>>
Maybe get out and do something you've never done before, switch up the routine
Exercise is good, raw foods are good
>Don't fall for the no caffeine meme
>>
>>2956466
>avoid caffeine.
tell that to Frank Zappa, Carlo Gambino, and David Lynch.
>>
>>2956434
Is this a rare merc or have I just not been on in a while? Haven't seen it before

Stop masturbating.
>>
you stop focusing on it,

you stop seeing yourself as too ill to draw.

then it will become a non-problem and you'll forget you ever made this thread or ever in your life even focused on it once.

That's how you solve an illness with no concrete cure, you attack the side of you that feels the need to attach such ambiguous sinister sounding maladies to your persona head-on, very simply by ignoring it.
>>
>>2956942
This is false. I draw every day but still experience brain fog
>>
Become an alcoholic. I drink and draw every night. The first 4 or 5 drinks yield great results. Gotta learn to quit drawing while you're ahead though.
>>
>>2956949
Sounds like you're still very much aware of it.

Using caffeine to feel awake is having a smoke so that you stop coughing. It is only effective for a short time, and makes the problem worse once the beneficial effects wear off.

What happens is, you are physically and mentally exhausted, so you drink coffee, which makes the symptoms go away by essentially blocking the chemical signals in your brain that make you feel tired. This makes you feel more alert and awake, but in fact allows you to greatly overexert yourself to the point of total exhaustion. Later on you go to sleep, but it isn't enough time for your brain to fully rejuvenate, so you wake up still exhausted, so you drink more coffee.

Think about it; does anyone you know or have ever talked to that never drinks coffee/caffeine have a lot of trouble waking up in the morning or functioning without it? I certainly don't, even on restless nights where I only get ~4 hours of sleep I don't need anything to get me through the day, but if I do have a coffee I notice that I am much more tired the next time I wake up.

My advice, starting on a day when you don't have anything going on for at least two days, stop drinking any caffeine. When you're tired, nap. You'll lose track of time and probably feel like shit but once your brain finally gets enough rest without being totally drained you'll start to feel much better when you wake up. Then simply never habitually use caffeine again.

Like everyone else who never drinks caffeine and has less trouble waking up in the morning than people who need 5 cups a day.
>>
What is brain fog? you mean when you can't concentrate or something?
>>
>>2956952
>quit drawing while you're ahead

and get a real job that you can actually live off

Don't you think you have a fucking problem when you need to depend on a stimulant to function? Get more sleep.

>>

Stop being depressed.
>>
>>2956466
I do everything you mention but still act like a zombie, if I don't zone out I'll be brainlessly switching between tasks every 5 minutes, it's almost impossible. I do manage to draw ~4 hours, but those hours usually stretch through the day. I don't think I ever finished a book or watched a movie within last few years, this is so frustrating yet ridiculous that I can't talk about it with anyone
>>
>>2957257
Why not? Just call up a psychiatrist.
>>
>>2957259
I'm from Eastern Europe and kinda broke, so that's not an option. I noticed though that I almost always end up talking with acquaintances and generally doing social stuff, so maybe it's all neet related and I should just go out at least sometimes, but not sure if lack of focus is ever connected with that

Take a break and focus on other stuff. You can't come up with interesting stuff if you don't live your life. Drawing should be a tiny portion of your life, not all of it.
>>
>>2959039
I haven't drawn in ages
