Is the Reilly method as good as people say? Apparently a lot of artist are using it.
imo it's only really useful for full frontal shots, it starts falling apart as the head turns
it also leads (at least for me) to exaggerated facial structure
it's more valuable as a method to learn the rhythms of the face and how they/the muscles interact with the face when drawing expressions then as an actual method of constructing the head for normal work
also, your question is retarded, you should learn every method, regardless of how good or bad someone says it is or who uses it
if you only learn one thing about one facet of head drawing from it, it's done its job

lolwat
It works with every angle.

I don't think it's any more useful than the loomis method or any other method. After a certain point, pretty much every artist ends up developing their own simplified method. Whether that's drawing the head shape and adding the details or drawing a box, etc. These methods are only there to get you used to drawing solid forms properly, and I think both Reilly and Loomis work fine for that. After that you just grind until it's ingrained in your head and you can draw however you want.

Maybe on Sketchfab.

What kind of shit advice is this? Not all methods and techniques are created equal.

are you retarded? OP replying to someone makes you want him to fuck off?

Seems like an interesting approach. I think the more roundness in a drawing method, the easier it becomes to feel and visualize form. Stuff like Loomis seems too angular and Art Deco styled which is bad if you want to learn to feel form.

Well yea, if you can't mirror curves in perspective, you're gonna have a bad time...

>front view
>symmetrical curves, whole process is straightforward
>perspective
>have to mirror non-parallel symetrical curves in perspective to draw a fucking head
Sounds like falling apart to me.

Well, everything is difficult if you're shit at construction
