Try to draw a cube without ruler
>>
>>2947120
If you tell me the logic behind why I shouldn't use a ruler
>>
>>2947141
You'll be relying on a crutch, your perspective may be correct but you will not know the how or why or explain it for that matter.

why do people think this is hard? is it making streight lines or understandig perspective?

if you need a perfectly streight lines use a ruler
if you dont care then do it freehand
if you dont know how perspective works read Loomis or something

Like posting on this thread? That features a topic you supposedly find a wast of time? :)
>>
>>2947178
Why do you overshoot the lines? No cube has sticking bits like those.

There's nothing wrong with overshooting lines. If you want to draw freehand while maintaining energy, you'll end up doing stuff like this

No wonder y'all're not gonna make it. Why do you guys think you can draw cute anime girls if you can't even draw a cube?

1st day of class in interior design freehand course... we spent four hours in class getting laughed at by the teacher because we cant get it right... mainly we were having a hard time getting the angles right when drafting. I'm just starting to sketch now.. day 2... Any tips that might be helpful on drafting?

Try to limit it to three dimensions next time.

You know, no matter how much hyperplanes your cube transcends, the lines must remain straight.

You BSed the ears, the beard is lopsided on the right side, the drop shadow on the neck makes no sense. Texture between the beard and the bottom lip is weird. No sense of lineweight and design in the neck. the right eyebrow doesn't follow the form of the skull, it sinks in.

Almost like those retarded girls who just do overly shaded pencil drawings. But I know you didn't draw this because you're a retarded faggot who just shitposts.
