I actually love this movie.
I like the book a lot, but I think they did a great job with the animation.

A Scanner Darkly is 10/10 I cried and then I read the book and cried again.
Waking Life was interesting but it reminded me too much of Slacker, which I prefer.

i don't remember a scanner darkly well enough, but waking life used rotoscoping pretty well, it really helped give it a genuine dreamlike feeling
