Curious what people think about my drawing style

linework is pretty rough, especially around the arms.
I like the face though, in particular the way you did the eyes.
the gem on dangus' head kind of just looks like an afterthought, it doesn't look like it has purpose being there.
the background is pretty bad, it is possible to simplify it too much.

overall 6.5/10

I was struggling with the gem on the head, wasn't sure if I even needed it. Good eye.

I'm not good at background art so most of the time I just treat it as a backdrop instead of spending time on it. It's something I need to work on for sure.

you have a rather nice cartoony style.

another thing i did notice is the shadow, the way you have it suggests his arms are infront of his body but the shading and the line on the body on the left make it look like they are beside him.

Looks fine to me, people here generally hate on most cartoon stuff so take what they say with a grain of salt.
