No. Your ability to memorize and retain visual information is the biggest factor when it comes to whether or not you'll "make it". I mean think about it, if you keep forgetting shit then how the hell would you make progress? I mean you can but it'll be a very very slow road. Unless you're pursuing art as a hobby I strongly suggest you reconsider your career aspirations. You might want to choose a career that doesn't tax greatly on your shitty memory.

You can become a truck driver, prostitute, soldier, dishwasher, plumber, guy that paints walls, janitor, model, motivation speaker and guru, miner, lumberjack, bricklayer, gravedigger...

Don't do drugs/reduce drinking. There are supplements that can help, and memory building exercises, some foods too. Or you could just sit the fuck down and draw instead of worrying about something irrelevant.
