How does one get as good as Yoshinari?

Study perspective and how to make proportions accurate in perspective (I recommend the Marshall Vandruff series
Study Bridgman's complete guide from drawing from life. Learn how to draw faces from Steve Huston on Youtube.
Study from life. That will teach you fundamentals. If want to start stylizing and want to refine your studies, look for Krenz Tutorials, there are some images that he gives exclusively to his patrons that have been shared if you look hard enough. Then look up color theory, Scott Robertson's How to Render and Kienan Lafferty's Youtube videos on texture and color boomerang are excellent. Then copy Yoshinari's drawings to see how he draws solves drawing problems. Animation doesn't teach you how to draw, it just forces you to draw things in multiple angles multiple times. Learn to draw before you animate
What's the idea with these kind of threads?

This one's pretty good, it's mostly about his history in the industry but he talks a little about his mindset about the stuff he draws and shit.
