Animator's Survival Kit is a meme avoid unless you want to be an inbetweening slave later down the road.
Read Preston Blair's animation book instead because you need to learn how to construct drawings to animate and he actually teaches it.

Oney's series Leo & satan bunch of other shit useful for finding out how stuff works in flash
Think Jazza may have a series also.
All these are helpful when comes to flash when it comes to animation there's a ton of shit out there if ya go looking for it but essentially if you practice the basics (movement/anatomy) enough you'll get better.
Forget animating, you have to learn how to draw first or your animation is never going to look good. It's Fun With a Pencil time for you!

A playlist of a video series by Harry Partridge. He uses Adobe Flash but it's basically the same, the tricks should all work on newer Adobe Animate. Also basic animation knowledge.
