show one (or multiple) of your sketchbook pages.
I want to see how people connect their sketches in a creative way. Also: Do you have a certain theme? Do you have any rules for your sketchbooks? Do you allow yourself to make mistakes in your sketchbooks?
I draw whatever I want.
i draw in pen so i dont get too upset about mistakes thats what a sketch book is for ,experiments and making mistakes, you can fix them later, and i have to try to think about the lines and forms before i draw them. i try to think in boxes as well. sometimes pages will have a theme sometimes not.
Vilppu says no rules just tools....
>tfw don't even have sketchbook
I just sketch some shit on paper then if it's decent take a picture and fix or continue it digitally. I
throw a lot of paper to the trash. Was always "afraid" to ruin a sketchbook, which is pointless and quite retarded, but throwing away cheap paper feels ok. You don't commit to it.

>I just sketch some shit on paper
if you mean printer paper kjg does the same thing a lot. he says he just uses A4 printer paper because he can buy more of it at a time.

Yeah that's what I meant, it's cheap and I can get plenty of packages easily. I usually draw on both sides too so I don't end up wasting it too quickly

I usually post weebshit in between drawabox studies, considering skipping over to Vilppu once I'm finished with the last two lessons.

Great variety between the individual sketches. I think your "final" style will stand out once you've gotten a firm grasp on the fundies :D

Here are from 3 sketchbooks.
My only real rule would be that I've got 2 higher quality books that I only practice faces and animals in.
And I try to utilize all my sketchbooks as much as possible by filling out all the pages.
>>2935166
haha thats quite a trash
Just a pencil and no real model I usually just improvise some lines and then add shadows .

Often by historical chronology, but mainly alphabetically so that it can be filed later. People with similar names are placed near each other, so for example one page might have "Kokesh/Brandis" next to "Landis, Max". I like discerning the difference in character between Prussian or Swiss faces for example because it reminds me of extended family members.
Sometimes European names like Walden will be correlated with Wu, Zetian. Asian occupational or ethnic names receive special attention. Hu, Kelly for example would feature as a Mongolian type. It's one way of maintaining a wider perspective.

BLOG?
For every good page, I have about five of the sloppy ones. My sketchbook is mostly a "note to self: draw this but better" book at this point.

I love that bottom right page. Great work, anon.
just been messing around with reilly method. anyone think it's really effective but also that it looks like a weird gimp dog mask?
Trying to sketch more so I get comfortable making mistakes
