Are there any books that explain posing and what various bits of body language mean? I'm having trouble coming up with my own poses and copying poses from others just makes me feel like shit
books that explain body language, lol
literally go outside and look around you and draw real people
ill add to what ive said; sure there are some general body language patterns but it varies individually to such an interesting extent that it would be a total shame to rely on a set of defined rules instead of judging from experience and observation. no body language is the same in the same sense where no face is the same, if you dont understand that you will only ever get lifeless, boring drawings

That feel when the reason why OP won't make it isn't that he doesn't work hard, doesn't draw 12h/day or don't do all the Loomis - no, OP will do all that and more, but the reason he will fail is because he doesn't interact with humans and is asocial fuck with no understanding of people and communication between them.
It's like autistic kid wanted to become sales representative or politician.

YOU'RE LOOKING AT IT WRONG, DONT THINK OF IT AS "POSES" BUT AS MOMENTS IN TIME
DO MORE GESTURE DRAWING
FEEL THE FORM
EVERYTHING HAS TO FEEL LIKE IT HAS WEIGHT, THAT IT OCCUPIES A 3D SPACE
THIS IS SOMETHING FELT, WHICH MEANS YOU SHOULD FEEL IT IN YOUR GUT.
