as a regular lurker of /tg/ drawthreads I can say that the creativity is unimpressive, but still high above other boards.

I've only been lurking in /a/ threads but this is mostly correct, 95% of requests aren't that interesting unless you give them some sort of twist.

Tried looking at some /v/ threads but they move so fast you can't even tell what's going on. I think anons there post 5 different requests at a time.

I'd say /ic/ because, well, this is an art board and we don't do requests, but that's cheating, so I'll go with /jp/.
Yeah, people there aren't as good as the people here (Then again, I wouldn't expect much from a board centered around a game made by ZUN), but you can actually feel that the anons there are passionate about their weebshit. That and there are almost no requests there.

/co/ isnt too bad. stay away from /b/ it's been pretty trash.
I find a lot of people don't have very many good requests. then a large portion of them want porn drawings.

I am always shocked that there is so many people that post requests. I don't get the whole concept at all because i have zero interest to post requests. It would be fine if they asked to draw something funny but it's always something more autistic like "draw my waifu 4 free"

none because most people asking for stuff in drawthreads have terrible taste and ask for stupid shit.

Unpopular opinion but I like the shit requests in drawthreads, I can only draw semi-lewd anime girls in generic poses. I also have no creativity, so I like just having a list of prompts that fit my comfort zone but can get me notes when I repost the art to tumblr.

I eventually stopped doing it though because I was putting in these hours and it didn't feel like anyone cared. I didn't want anyone to tell me that the sun shines out of my ass, but the majority of my deliveries went without thanks or just 'thanks', and often better drawfags would pick the same request and obviously get a lot more praise.
I like making people happy but eventually it was just making me sad
