What do you guys do with your art? Right now I have a drawer full of sketches on printer paper, binders full of loose leaf doodles, and a pile of large pencil and scratchboard projects. Any cool ways to organize and store art? (aside from hanging them up/framing)

>tfw all my drawers are filled so they just pile up in a corner
Who knew drawing would be so space consuming
I guess this is why digital is superior
>>2910552
I don't like doing digital because it takes too much time for me. I like doing little sketches and stuff when I have some time, though, but yeah it's pretty lame.

I ended up throwing a ton out during a move at one point. Eventually you build up piles and piles of crap. Think I threw out like 20 newsprint pads at least. Now I'm mostly digital though, so it's not an issue. I can't imagine the space physical canvases would take.

Pieces of art should be sold or hung somewhere potential buyers will see them.
Sketches should be kept as long as they are USEFUL AND RELEVANT and then thrown out immediately. You are building a skill, not a collection.

I just roll them all up together and put them in a basket

>rolling
What are you doing nigga

I keep mine in tightly bound books. I've only drawn on copy paper so binding the books later is cheap and easy (like $3-4 per book)
Sometimes I flip through them when I want to remember an intimate moment with a frustrating drawing. Otherwise I just keep them on my book shelf, and compare them to the height of my pencil cup.
I went digital for a while, but now I print and ink my digi sketches so I can add them to the stack.
I think I may have a problem with hoarding and archiving stuff...

Whoa, you're that one really good artist in the alt thread aren't you? Mind if I get a pic of your colors in the back to use as a reference?
>>2910682
>good
I'd be careful using that word around here, maybe consistent is a better term since it's ambiguous...
Copics colors are not light fast and tend to fade a lot so this chart isn't very accurate. I usually scan immediately after coloring.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind, thanks none the less.

Well fuck, I only got so much space in my house. I'm not gonna throw out furniture or empty drawers or closets just to fit my shit in them.
>>2910615
that actually takes up even more space and damages the paper.
Those arent scrolls made from animal skin dude
I keep the loose leaf stuff in binders and I have a giant tub filled with my sketchbooks over the past decade under my bed
