I wanted to learn to draw since I was 20 and then already I felt it was too late but I thought: "I will regret it if I don't start now". Now I am 25 and still haven't started and indeed regret it.

As usual people in these threads keep focusing on whether or not someone can learn to draw if they start at 28. Of course they can learn, it make take a bit longer than it would for a 20 year old but it's absolutely doable. The question is; do you want to commit the next few years of your life to art just to become employable in your 30s? What if 5 years from now you realize that art isn't all that it was made out to be and you don't want to spend the rest of your life fulfilling someone else's artistic vision? Will you start over at 33?

Have you considered going into the trades instead and drawing in your spare time? Contrary to what people here say, you don't need to draw 12 hrs a day do be decent.

You can't time it. I've learned drawing by sketching in notebooks, book margins, any piece of paper I could find. Ten minutes here, ten minutes there. Hours on end, all day, every day, and sometimes none at all. It must be natural. If you force it, you'll never learn anything.
