Hopefully this project doesn't go to complete shit like Breading Season does.
Anyways if you haven't noticed, sex sells.
>>2908166
who the fuck is this. how are they earning as much as sakimichan and how have i never heard of them
>>2908166
literally who?
>>2908166
>this guy makes around 360,000 a year
n-never gunna make it
>>2908216
Oh, but that was actually good, so no surprise there. He deserves it.
Wow, makes me wonder why the fuck I am spending so much time grinding fundamentals when it's all about average product consistency and marketing.
>>2908219
>He deserves it.
He doesn't deserve even close to 28,000 a month. Patreon is a donation service and I guarantee he isn't spending even a fraction of it on the game. People are giving their hard earned money to a dude thinking it is going to a project and yet it definitely isn't.
This shit wouldn't fly on kickstarter.
>>2908166
Doesn't he have to split the money with the rest of the team that works on the game?
>>2908260
And that's why Kickstarter is essentially dead.
>>2908273
Which is sad because at least Kickstarter promised a finished project.
>>2908278
>at least Kickstarter promised a finished project
>>2908285
Don't sadfrog me, people got their money back on bogus kickstarters regularly.
>>2908301
isn't that the point
>>2908312
Yes, because on Kickstarter you are funding a project that has a start and an end. Patreon is used in this way but it isn't what it is designed for, so people don't actually need to spend the money they make.
And some talented guys dont even make it to a 1000 i hope the game is good at least
>>2908260
>People are giving their hard earned money to a dude thinking it is going to a project and yet it definitely isn't.
You make it sound like he's trying to scam people or something. I really doubt anyone actually thinks that amount of money is necessary for what he's doing. A lot of people like his game and want to give him money. There isn't really anything wrong with that. Sure, its probably more than he deserves, but life isn't fair. Nothing is stopping anyone from coming along and doing something better.

>People are giving their hard earned money to a dude thinking it is going to a project and yet it definitely isn't.
Huh? It's called "Patreon." Like "patron." It's a website to give money to people as a way to be their patron, like House Medici used to patronize renaissance artists. Nowhere is there any implication that the money has to be used in a certain way.
>>2908260
stop being this salty, shithead.
he's not scamming anyone.
