Are you serious? For most of Kent Williams' career he was a comic artist and illustrator. The reason he says "visit this old friend" is because he literally did Wolverine comics a few decades ago, pic related.

I've seen Dan Quintana draw Batman crap for comic con. I think it's just a way to appeal to more people and sell more stuff.

I wouldn't say she is better, she just does more polished naturalistic things. Kent does rougher more stylized work. I much prefer Kent's work personally, but find both of their art kind of boring and superficial. I can only look at so much "muh nude figure with abstract splotches" before I lose interest.

Fine art is dead right now because they have no standards and satisfy themselves with pop culture. Or they are just old people doing landscapes and portraits.
