Definitely got that feeling before. It started one day when I was bored in school and decided to look up a random model on my phone and try to draw her, expecting it to be shit, but actually being happy with what I put out. Definitely improved my confidence and helped me become even better at art.

same, I'll not draw for like half a year and then decide to draw with a reference and its better than anything I've done before.

I think its because I'm constantly thinking about drawing though, like when I look at things I'm paying attention to how shit is structured and how I would draw it.
