I could've asked this at /mu/ but I chose to do it here:
How is music different other types of art? Why is it?

music is an art form that deals directly and more easily with emotions.
is very easy for music to give someone emotions compared to painting and literature.
even film and videogames use music to make the viewer feel emotions.
dunno why.
literature is about intelectual pleasure.
painting is about eye candy.
music is about emotional shit.

>but I chose to do it here
Why?
Real artists don't listen to music.

>here
>real artists
Lol.

Most forms of art are appreciated visually, music is appreciated aurally. Visual mediums share a lot of terminology that can't apply literally to music.

You should really be asking /lit/. Their art form deals with thinking about the answers to abstract questions. Our art deals with the answers to concrete questions like "where does what color go?"
