tis art truly worthy of a kang
>>2896815
No. There are tons of amazing black artists, but illustrat will never be one of them.

why
>>2896875
His ego outweighs his talent. It will need to shrink if he's ever going to see his flaws and start to improve.

For example, Brian here was doing some really try-hard shit as recently as a year or two ago. He was stuck on some conceptual loop that had him reexamining the same shit ideas, or doodling too aimlessly.
But he's been able to move outside of that box, to experiment with other styles/ideas/techniques and study several historical artists' styles with intent. As a result, he has improved his art dramatically in a few years.
Illustrat's boundless and baseless self-confidence create a one-man circlejerk, so he never sees the need to push himself out of his comfort zone, to experiment, or to really study anything. He relies too heavily on the idea of his inner genius compensating for real work.

Kitty here. Long time listener first time caller. Honestly. I like his work. I think a lot of his hate is simply because he is black.
>>2896948
Oh yeah, never thought it might be because he keeps posting his work on his own thread and acting smug about it?
>>2896948
Well that's odd because there are lots of black artists I love, but somehow the smug untalented shitposter doesn't do much for me. Guess I'm just a racist.
