I'm doing all the art for and codesigning a battling card game set in post apocalyptic Los Angeles. This is the first chunk Of art and changes can be made so let me know whatever you think

The style is a bit inconsistent, as is the quality. The best pieces there are pretty good though. It's obvious when you are using ref and when you are not, so like the very top right image of the guy in white with the gun looks great but then the girl in the image to the left of him looks pretty bad. Or the water in all the images looks horrible.
I know it's a huge project so you will be spreading yourself a bit thin over it all, but I feel you shouldn't half ass too many parts as it really shows when you do. Otherwise it seems to be decent. It's not to my taste really, but I can imagine it would appeal to some people a lot.

It just doesn't look or feel like water. You've outlines a bunch of random shapes and filled them in, but they don't really represent how water behaves or is lit, and they are really repetitive and ugly shapes you've made. It almost looks like a really bad filter put on it, but the shapes make less sense than a photo.
