Her right arm is fully extended reaching out and is perpendicular to the picture plane so looks as long as possible. Her left arm is slightly bent and slightly foreshortened (just compare where her shoulder sits in space compared to where her hand is).

The buttcheek/thigh looking thick is because she is kneeling down so it is squishing out, especially by her butt where her heel is pressing into it.

I agree about the foreshortening on the man's legs, I think they are the most blatant error on that page. The crits on the woman are pretty minor and don't bother me.

If you actually go through the book it's still a solid educational material in my opinion. It's literally just Bridgman but by a Chinese guy and some of the drawings are a little clearer or more fleshed out than Bridgman (but also might have tiny proportion errors and things too...again I don't think they are a big problem).
