the monster is far creepier in the second picture (artist is guru on pixiv by the way), and it actually has a sense of immersion like you could actually be there

Odilon redon is pretty goat. There's a few more guys from his generation but i can't think of them. The creepy artist guys usually aren't as talented as the rest but redon is very good.
