I can't remember if I took the photo with artificial light or not, but during daytime its in a pretty decent position. During the night I put a flexo-like lamp in that wooden stool

This. If you go to art colleges you learn the fundamentals of what you want to do alongside regular art fundamentals. You don't ONLY do fundamentals because that's boring and doesn't encourage your creative side as well. You need to balance study with creation or you never learn to apply study TO creation, and you end up a sad sack on /ic/ with no work and motivation

How do I recover?

I share a study with my husband who has it completely trashed after his uncle visited us recently so my current battlestation is on the couch..

I'm trying to get motivated to just go clean it up myself though so I can have my workspace back because my brain gets too clogged drawing in the living room (Too many distractions too like the cats and the tv).

did you guys buy or make these table/easel things?
