bey brian I'm at work so I can't watch your stream right now. I'm the anon who was asking about mixing and consistency of the paint. my paint is always too thin and ends up looking like shit because the colors are "milky looking" I can post examples, but I don't want to stink up your thread. any tips?

Brian, doesn't your still life fall off without the bottom plane? Also all of the items are too detailed and don't feel as a whole, you should focus on one item. Also, what the deal with those shadows?

>focus on one item meme
Who taught this and why do new artists keep falling for it?
>>2860782
>you should focus on one item
you mean do a still life with one object?
im gonna stream again later ill post when im ready.

By focusing on one item I mean the literal focus. Human eye works in such a way that it can concentrate on one object at a time and blurs everything that's around it.

literally a meme
How could you fall for it
A painting isn't like the human eye
Shadows are fucked and fabric again looks like garbage.

seems more like an illustration effect than a rule for all your paintings to follow.
