If he wanted to lighten the load on the servers, he should ban all the computer illiterate retards who've flooded 4chan over the past few years. If you ever post on a board outside of /ic/, you'll notice most normal-sized pictures are over a MB in size, when they could be shrunk to less than 150KB. It's like everyone is posting raw, uncompressed images, particularly if they're phone posters.
