1. a Zebra F-301 0.7mm ballpoint pen.
2. a brandless 3.5"x5.5" softcover sketchbook that I got a few of on sale. I've been meaning to get some Field Notes ones for a long time.
Those go in my pocket along with my phone, wallet, and keys whenever I go out.
A Faber Castell clutch pencil and a small sketchbook.
Something like this.

I love it when people post pics of what they use
those are some nice materials, that kneaded eraser case is neat
>>2854686
Lol, that watercolor tin looks so clean. Mines a hot mess
>>2854750
a red solo cup.
>>2854705
Thanks, it's very practical. I used to wrap my kneaded eraser in toilet paper or paper towel...
>>2854726
I wipe it clean when there's no more free mixing space.
>>2854750
A plastic cup like in the pic (I don't use the lid)
>>2854654
But anon, did you earn your Firem'n Chit?
>>2854780
>>2854755
Cool, how do you guys hold everything (paper, palette, cup, brushes) while you paint?
Also, here's my setup when I'm painting at my desk. For outside, I use water brushes and I cut up an old sock as a rag I can hold on my arm.

I think i still have one my manager gave me, i don't know why he wanted me to pee in it though.
Creep.
>>2854932

Now, I just have to find a way to get one without buying a pack of a hundred

>>2854932
why do women constantly have to lowkey brag about being hit on by "creeps"
it's almost as if you need a constant stream of validation
>>2855391
Huh?
>>2855729
>a constant stream of validation
.1mm pen and a sketchbook
>>2855729
Oh shit I didn't even notice that until now
Was it a trap all along?

A5 sketchbook
B or 2B pencil
Fountain pen + waterbrush

I carry with me an 8 x 8 inch square sketchpad (cartridge paper), a HB and/or 2B graphite pencil, a dust-free eraser, a click eraser and a sharpener.
Pentel Brush pen.
Pentel Hybrid Technica (only ballpoint pen that I would say is GREAT for drawing.
Pentel Stylo.
Red and Blue Col-Erase pencils.
Steadtler mars technico.
Generic mechanical pencils and white square erasers.
Used to carry Steadtler pigment liners (Still think they're better then microns, but I just don't do that kind of drawing much anymore.)
>on the go
wtf someone could see me
are you nuts
>>2854780
>I used to wrap my kneaded eraser in toilet paper or paper towel...

>>2854888
those are some nice drawings

A bus pass, a sketchbook and a box of chalks, pencils, erasers, and such.
To be honest, painting en plein air with oils requires a lot of forethought and planning. I'd suggest watching a lot of *Your Brush With Nature* on Netflix.
Messenger bag
Staedtler Mars Technico 2mm lead holder
Staedtler Mars plastic eraser
Masters Touch 9x12 Sketchbook
Moleskine 5 1/2x8 /12 Sketchbook Plus
Uni 2mm Lead Sharpener
The tin for the watercolours arrived the other day so I haven't had a chance to use it on the go yet.
basically:
watercolours
waterbrush pens
1 brush pen with an ink/water mix for tones
3 toned grey markers
lead pencil
mars technico lead pencil
sharpie fine point pen
pentel pocket brush pen
white gel pen
white pencil crayon
then I repurposed a little leather case I used to use for pocket journals to keep postcard sized sheets of watercolour paper.
Pretty versatile imo
St Petersburg White Nights 12 watercolor
Col-Erase in Blue & Scarlet Red
Mitsubishi Uni Pin (size 01 & 02)
Zebra Sarasa gel pen (size 0.3)
Platinum Preppy (with Platinum Carbon Ink)
Uniball Signo UM-153 (white)
Mitsubishi Uni Knock eraser
Uni Kura Toga (B 0.5 lead)
Cool Gray in 1,3,5,7
Pentel Aquash (medium tip)
Daler Rowney pocket sketchbook
Looks like a bit but they fit in a small pencil case quite snug, thinking about buying a W&N pocket sketchbox since it's a lot more compact than the watercolor set I'm using.

I love looking at messy palettes like this, they have a lot of personality.
Just a regular ballpoint pen tbqh
Mechapencil!

Buy one of these talenti ice creams and reuse the cup to hold water. They have a wide enough opening that you don't have to worry about accidentally smashing your brush on the edge. The twist on lid is also water tight, at least for the three that I use.
